Our History

Global Christian Center was founded by Rev. Francis Karengi, who has traveled across America to extend the helping hand to help many who are lost through the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is located at 33 N. Clay, Ferguson, Mo 63135, which we are currently sharing the building with another established Christian ministry. The organization was formally registered in in the state of Missouri as a non-denominational Christian ministry. Throughout the last ten years of operation, GCC has touched the lives of thousands who have approached this ministry with various needs.

The church does not have any employees as of yet, but has regular committed family members who has the desire to see much of the world being transformed by the word of God. Global Christian Center, is a center that operates from the heart, extending the mission to meet the expectation of unity by loving people of all nationalities, ethnicities, different backgrounds, through and by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We believe having a personal relationship with Christ is essential to make a daily impact on your life and the lives around around you.

In order to grow in our walk with God we need a community filled with encouragement and uplifting friendships.

The only way we can have a relationship with the Father is through Jesus Christ and by tapping into the Holy Spirit.

Our Statement of Faith

Scriptures say that times will only grow darker and as a church we need to be the lamp that sits on the hill for people to see. We need to pray, serve and fill our role like never before if we want to see the communities around us turn on their flesh driven ways and to surrender their life over to Jesus.

There is one God, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and each possesses all of the attributes of God.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is one with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is our Savior. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross for all sin, and rose from the grave after three days to demonstrate His defeat of sin and death. He ascended into heaven and will return again to earth to reign as our powerful King.
The Holy Spirit is one with God the Father and Jesus Christ. Those who accept Christ as their Savior will receive the Holy Spirit to live inside them. The Holy Spirit serves as our comforter, guide and advocate. The Holy Spirit is given to Christians to guide us in living, help us understand the Bible and prayerfully intercede for us.

Our foundation is based firmly upon the Bible as our final authority on Christian beliefs and as a guide to living. The Bible is divinely inspired by God, without error, given to man so that we may know and understand the truth of God and His love.
We can never earn forgiveness for our sins, but we can receive forgiveness as a free gift from God provided by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. It is available by faith to everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. We then express that faith by being baptized in water and repenting of sin.
People were created to exist forever. Every person will either exist eternally in union with God in heaven through following Jesus Christ or eternally separated from God in hell due to their refusal to follow Him.

Our Dream

The goal, at all times, has been to ensure that we make not a temporary but a lasting impact on the lives of others through demonstration fed the hungry, clothed the needy, housed the homeless, and many more other missions through the generous offerings of its members. GCC has assisted immigrant groups assimilate into United States life and culture through education, job searches, language interpretation, driving lessons, tours of the city, and employment searches. The overwhelming obstacle of education has deafened our efforts and that is why our number one goal is to acquire an abandoned school in the city, remodel it and educate the uneducated throughout the city.
